Congratulations to our third class student Elsie Carroll who won a national award in the 'Have you got Maths Eyes' competition in the under 11 category. Elsie took a picture of a room in her house and created Maths questions on her image. Elsie attended an awards ceremony in the Clock Tower at the Department of Education last week in Dublin where she was presented with her award by the Minister of Education Helen Mc Entee. It is a fantastic achievement for our school and we are very proud of Elsie and her award!
